Just a friendly reminder about First Saturday adoration from 4-6 pm at St/ Clement Shrine. Due to the school vacation, the seminary community may not be present for rosary and Evening Prayer as they normally are on the first Saturday. Nevertheless, we encourage you to come and pray with any members of the AC and OMV community who will be adoring our Lord at the shrine during the 4-6 pm hours. More info at our groupsite. Sacrament of Confession
Dear friends,
If you haven't gone in a while, we'd like to invite you to consider going to confession before Christmas. Confession is a healthy spiritual practice that brings the faithful closer to Christ, and Advent is a wonderful time to revisit the sacrament if you haven't already. To read more about the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the Catholic Encyclopedia provides a great synopsis here. Monsignor Charles Mangan wrote a good article on how to make a good confession a few years ago (2004). Visit Catholic.org online and read his story here.
